This article verifies what those of us who have been in Splankna therapy know: trauma of any type, at any age, causes reactions to current happenings even though we have no recollection of the trauma.
Here is a quote from the article that struck me, " ...Implicit flashbacks from early childhood can be powerful. They can overtake a person, and dominate his or her emotional state. Even so, the person may have no idea that what they are feeling is memory. How could they? If they cannot remember a past event that caused these feelings, the feelings naturally seem to belong to the present. When we have an implicit flashback, we mistakenly believe someone, or something, in the present is causing these feelings..."
In my opinion, this type of "implicit flashback" happens more than anyone realizes. It happens in a flash--pun intended--so quickly that we blame the person who triggered us. Believe it or not, Splankna Therapy can access those traumas which occur before our conscious mind can remember them, and helps clear them out! I have found SO much relief from womb trauma, which negatively shaped my view of myself and which held my thoughts captive for most of my life.
